I've been in a walking boot since I came back from our last Disney vacation in October. They thought I just had some tendonitis from walking the parks so much and left it at that. They found out after an MRI that I have this lovely bone and cartilage disease called OCD. This was my MRI in November:

You're not supposed to have a hunk missing out of your ankle... apparently, nobody told my ankle that.

I had surgery on December 12th and have been completely non-weightbearing since, and I'm happy to say I just got home from my 6 week appointment and I can start hobbling around here without crutches and start PT! Now I can start planning my next Disney trip... mwahah.

Oh wow, that is something I have never seen before..

Happy to hear you are on the mend, and planning away :cool1:

To also help with the healing process bone up on vitamin C. Its great for healing the body. And papaya is good for pain
