We will be in WDW in March for my birthday and anniversary. We will be on the DDXDP, so we are able to experience the signature restaurants a little easier this time. We haven't eaten at any of them before, but I think I have narrowed it down to the ones I really want. We will be staying at the Poly, so we will be close to GF and CR. With everything I have planned out so far, I can only pick two signature dinners, but there are three that I really want to go to!! I need to pick between California Grill, Narcoossee's, and Flying Fish. I can pick two of the three! Which one should I leave out? I LOVE seafood if that influences anyones decision!! If there are other restaurants you think I would enjoy, please don't hesitate to add them to my list!!

1. Flying Fish
2. Ca Grill

3. Narcoosees

Narcoosees is my least favorite of all of the signature restaurants on Disney's dining plan. Unless you want lobster, the fish/seafood is better at Flying Fish.

Narcoossee's is our least favorite of the signature restaurants. I'd definitely pick FF & CG! I would suggest you take a look at Citricos, it has been consistently awesome the last three times we went!!:cloud9:

1. Narcoossee's is great! We ate there a week ago & loved it. Their lobster & steak was so so good.
2. Yauchmann's Steakhouse was my favorite meal of our trip though. The filet & mashed potatoes was so good. But then I'm a steak person..not a seafood lover!

I would leave out Flying Fish. I know everyone loves it but our meal wasn't anything spectacular when we ate there.

I enjoy Artist Point and Bistro de Paris.

California Grill & Narcoossee's are MUST do's on EVERY trip. We are going to Flying Fish for the first time in January. But I can't imagine going on a trip without the first two.:cool1:

From your list, I'd pick Cali Grill and Narcoosee's. We did the DxDP this year and did not care for Flying Fish either. They had a great mussels appetizer, but that was about it for the food. Since you are staying at the Poly, Citricos is close by. The Poly has the Spirit of Aloha Luau dinner show that is 2 TS credits, but it is outside and you are limited to category 2 or 3 seating. Hoop de do Dinner Review is at FW and is another dinner show, but it is indoors. The dinner shows include alcohol.

Cali Grill and FF are my favorite two on property. The food is excellent at both, been to both a few times. Narcossees is good but not great.

:thumbsup2 I think you'd be happy with any of them, but if I skipped one of those, it would be Narcoossees.

I like all three, but I'd pick California Grill and Flying Fish. That said, haven't been to the Flying Fish in awhile, will go back next year if we get Boardwalk Villas.

Thanks everyone! It looks like FF or Narcoossee's has to go! No one has said anything bad about CG, so I guess that one is a keeper!! I only wish I had more than 7 nights so I could try everywhere out! Oh well, I guess that gives me new places to try when we return for the next trip!! Thanks again!!

I guess i am the odd duck out....we did not think the food at Cal Grill was very good with the exception of the sushi and great fireworks viewing. We love the whole Maine lobster at Narcossees and thought Flying Fish had great food and service.

Look over the menus and pick where you would like to order, all three places are nice with each one having their own special dishes.

I think that for quality of food and ease of travel, you should pick CG and Narcoossee's. Flying Fish is a beautiful restaurant with really excellent service, but we thought the food was a bit bland, including their signature fish dish. It is also hard to get to if you are not at Epcot. If it was easier to get to, I would recommend Jiko's, one of the best places in WDW. At least in my opinion.

Cali Grill is a must. (Just skip the filet, we didn't like it. Everything else has been great.)

If you like lobster, and for ease of travel, Narcoossee's may be the better choice. If you don't mind the travel to the Boardwalk (or even want to go to check it out the street entertainment), then Flying Fish is a fantastic restaurant. We think it's better than Narcoosee's (again, unless you want the lobster).

Either way, you won't be dissappointed, all three are great places.

California Grill and Flying fish. These are 2 of the best, in my opinion. I have to agree with the others about Narcoosee's. It's good if you really need to have lobster, otherwise you won't be dissappointed with the others.
