I can NOT believe we are doing this!

We did a last minute trip last April. We were in Pensacola, Florida on some unpleasant family business on a Wednesday and Thursday.

It just so happened that the hotel I had booked on the internet was a dump so we were going to change hotels for Thursday night then head home Friday. As we were looking for another hotel, my hubby said "we're not expected back till Sunday anyway, lets go to WDW" so instead of staying in a hotel in Pensacola, we headed East on I-10 and stopped at I-10 and I-75 then went on down to WDW on Friday morning. We got a room at All-Stars and bought two-day UPHs and spent all day Friday and Saturday in the parks. In those two days, we went to Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and the Studios. We saw Illuminations, Tapestry of Dreams, Fantasmic, Spectromagic, and Fantasy in the Sky. We also spent both Friday night and Saturday night at Adventurer's Club.

After the Hoopla on Saturday night, we drove up to Ocala and stayed there, then finished driving home on Sunday.

In all honesty, I'm surprised our credit card company didn't ding on that trip! (Four different hotels in four different places over four nights)

Last year I booked a 3 night trip at the last minute just so I could go to the Adventurers Club for Halloween. It was a crazy thing to do because I was scheduled to return just 3 days after that trip ended with my mom, to do the Food & Wine Festival.

Well, I had such a blast I'm doing it again...and returning a week after that trip for the Food & Wine Festival.
