10 more sleeps till were going to Disney!!!! 9 till we tell the kids. This has been the longest wait ever. Planned back in November and I had to keep the secret from my 7 and 4 year old. They have no idea were going. I keep telling them were going when the younger one is 5 and in kindergarten :) Were going to do a little treasure hunt Wednesday night the 7th that will lead to their magic bands. Then our flight leaves on the 8th at 6:00pm. I seriously can hardly stand my excitement!!!

That's so exciting! I hope you have a wonderful time. We thought we were a one and done family but we fell in love with Disney. Seeing the magic through our kids' eyes was the best unexpected gift.

How exciting!!! I just love the excitement leading up to a trip!!

We go annually, and our last trip was this past April, but we are not going again until August!!! It's like, the longest wait ever!!!

I'm so ready to book, just waiting for the perfect deal. :)

We haven't been since 2014 my kids were 5 and 2 and my son loved it but he was so little. This year he is 40'' so can do so much more. And oh my the joy through their eyes I just love it. My husband isn't as big of a fan as I am but he goes because it makes us all happy. I just can't wait to see their faces when we tell them :)

Horray for 10 sleeps!!! Our last trip was 2014 too and we leave in 17 days! :)

Hope they love the surprise and you have a magical trip!!

Oh sooo exciting! The surprise is going to make this trip so much more magical for them. I think with a rare exception it would be most children's dreams to be surprised with a trip to WDW.

Ha! I only have 3 more sleeps im completely stoked!

I could have written most of your post! We are leaving on the 9th so ten more sleeps for us as well! We also haven't told the kids yet! I booked when free dining was released in the Spring. Our boys are almost 5 & almost 7. I didn't plan on the trip being a surprise at first but I kept putting off telling them for various reasons and as we got closer it just seemed like if we were ever going to plan a surprise trip, this might as well be it. I will never be able to pull this off again. My husband and I have almost blown it so many times (thankfully they are young and gullible). And now I am just bursting and can not wait to tell them. I think we have finally decided we are going to tell them right before we get in the car to go. My younger son's birthday is the second day of the trip so I think we will let him open up one present early and it will be the magic bands. Then when they ask when we are going, we'll say "Right Now" and watch them freak out. We love watching surprise videos on YouTube and they both think it would be beyond cool for us to surprise them. We have been saving money in a Disney box and I have told them we "might" have enough money by next year, hehehe.

This is going to be so exciting for them. They are not going to sleep at all that last night!!!!

And all of you planning surprises better report back about how they go! I hope someday to do a surprise trip for my kids!
