I came in THIRD in the National Gingerbread Competition!!!!!

Judging was all day today and awards were given out tonight. I was hoping for a top 10 finish and ended up coming in third!!!! I am beyond ecstatic!

There were 100 adult entries, and the competition was fierce. The grand prize winner was an adorable set of Russian Stacking dolls in the shapes of Santa, Rudolph, an elf, a snowman and a gingerbread man.

Of the top 10 6 of us were first timers, and all of the winners were first time winners.

I will post some pictures tomorrow. Right now it is time to sleep.
