I brought vertical patio door blinds

but we are going to put them up over a window at work. The blinds are too long on each side (width). Would we be able to shorten them some how so it won't go past the window so much?

I'm not sure if you can shorten the width as there usially is a metal track in it. I can't help...but I will bump this up in case someone else can!

Is it possible to install them with an equal overlap on each end? Or, you could put the one edge where the edge of the door is and let the excess be on the other side. You don't have to pull the blind all the way open to use it.

Have you checked to see if there are shorter blinds available?

They cost too much money. I'm hoping it will work out somehow.
