I broke my scraper

I spent about 10 minutes yesterdy morning scraping the ice from my car windows, I then as I usually do, flicked my scraper to get all the ice of it before I putting it back into the car.
But yesterday I had my new woolly thermal gloves on, which have slightly less grip than my old pig skin ones and the scraper shot out of my hand, hit the ground and exploded into pieces

It was favourite scraper as well, with a great rubber squeegy blade

DW was watching from the lounge window and nearly wet herself when she saw the scraper explode on the floor!
