Two cornish game hens, that is..

What can I do with them? Pretty much the same thing I would do with a chicken? Can I cook them in a crock pot - or would the oven be better?

I thought it would be a nice chnage, but now I'm not so sure of how to prepare them or if I should put some kind of glaze or sauce on them..

I'm tired of eating the same ol - same ol..

I'm sorry, but the title and the subject together made me LOL! :teeth:

I don't have any advice on how to cook them though. :)

Yep, cook them like chicken. And they taste like chicken!

Seriously, they cook faster than a standard roaster, and you really don't need to stuff them. You can also split them in halp and grill them on the gas or charcoal grill. I usually serve them with rice pilaf. And veggies and salad, of course.

They are cute, for sure.

We love cornish hens !!

Season them and rub with butter just like preparing a chicken to oven roast. I always cover mine, and then uncover for the last 15-20 mins of cooking time to brown the skin.

I usually serve mashed potatoes, carrots and cranberry sauce with mine.

Enjoy!

Ditto!

"Cute" Cornish Game Hens :teeth: . You can roast them like a regular chicken-put some black pepper and garlic salt on them and chop up some potatoes, onions, celery, and carrots to roast along with them.
My husband likes to add a mixture of lemon grass, garlic, ginger, oyster sauce, and keffer lime leaves then steaming them in foil. He then adds in cabbage and sometime long beans and we use a homemade tomato sauce.
