I bought the lenses!

So I did it, after reading the responses on here regarding my lens question, I bought two new lenses. I picked up the Nikon 105mm and the Nikon 50mm 1.8 and a 10x filter. I have to tell you that I am tickled pink! I was going to test them out and then return the one that I didn't want, but I love both of them. Here are some test shots I took when I received the lenses.

Great lenses, both of them. Each very sharp. For the cost of the 50 f/1.8 I'd keep em both. Its always fun to find a reason to use a lens. That means your going to be taking pictures! WOOOO HOOOO

People getting into DSLRs have no clue. Lenses are the real money pit.

Those photos are excellent. I love the detail in the eye shot. Color and detail in the tree is excellent.

I finally got a shot of the moon the other night, so now I'm looking into getting the 70-300mm vr lens too. You are right - the lenses are the money pit! Well, that and the accessories....
