I bought Grace a leap pad today....

She seems to like it. I got her the pink one with the back pack. I just sit and watch her play with it and she's more on the ball phonetically than her teacher gives her credit for, I think. Daddy's taking the kids to toys R us tonight and he's going to pick up a kindergarten phonics book for her. I think between that, nad just plain old practice with worksheets and whatnot, she should be able to get back on track with her letters.

If I am off base here, please disregard this post, but if your child is having trouble with letters and letter sounds, try the Leap Pad dvd's. Letter Factory and Word Factory are both fantastic! My kids all loved them. I highly recommend them. I got mine at Target, but I bet Walmart carries them, too.
