I Booked Thanksgiving 2008!

I just could not believe it! I called bright and early this morning and I got Thanksgiving 2008! YIPPIE!!! It is SUPERCALAFRAGILISTICEXPALADOCIOUS!
I called every day for the last few months....and today was my LUCKY DAY!!!!! So keep trying too!!!!!!!!!

I booked Thanksgiving 08 today. I booked thru CRO but found the days I wanted online. I find the Disney Website one of the hardest to complete a transaction on. Geez. I just find what I want and then book it on the phone. Now I gotta book 4th of July.

Congratulations to all who made it through. I do not know what they are doing because we got another day in December yesterday and haven't had any headway today. Weird.

Ahh, figured out the trick. We go with my parents at Thanksgiving, so they don't mind staying longer, so the longer I made the trip, the more there was available. Was able to finally get a full hook up site starting from the 20th to the 30th, but we wanted preferred.

Had to book the ressie for the 17th-30th of November, and then I was able to get a preferred site for Thanksgiving! We actually are doing the same thing this year, my parents will be up there for about a week before we are, just had to do the same thing again for next year. I had forgotten we had to make the long ressie for this year in order to get in at Thanksgiving, kind of funny how that works

Of course I just called my mom up to told her I made the ressies, and when I told her it was for 13 nights she was rather excited so to speak My dad however will be another story...lol.

I did the same thing Chris. I had to put in a lot of dates to get my days. I only wanted Friday-Monday but had to get like 10 days myself to get it to work. I will cancel them as the time get's closer. Who knows maybe I'll hit the lottery and really be able to stay all those nights lol. Oh well it doesn't hurt to dream.

Yes, tons of people decorate their campsites, you will see everything from just a wreath to full on decorations (and I mean full on, you're going to be amazed when you see what some people do!).

I was able to make reservations today for myself and my parents for Nov 26 - Dec 1, 2008. Yeah, Thanksgiving at the Fort.

Does anyone have any knowledge as to what nights Mickey's Very Merry Xmas Parade will be held next year??

Just wondering if one might fall during this time. I know in the past either the Sunday or Monday following Thanksgiving they had the parade.

I don't think we'll know the dates for quite some time, at least for next year
