We have been thinking of getting back to Orlando for quite some time and decided last night that we definitly would.
We toyed with the idea of driving since we would not have to pay for gas in my company car, but I dread the drive from Iowa.

We booked Allegiant AIr flying from Rockford, IL.

Anybody else been there, done that?

Let me know your experience and I will post mine when we come back.
Leaving June 16 coming back June 23.

Thanks!

you already booked?

I just found a flight from KC on Midwest cheaper than Allegiant, but then again we are in DSM...and it is only about 2 hrs away.

How far is Rockford from Bettendorf??

My brother uses allegiant to vegas all the time from DSM and loves them!!

I find their flight times too restrictive and the cost of getting to WDW from Sanford just does not help Allegiant in my eyes because we like to go with out a car rental.

did you get a good deal?

I know they are non stop which is a BIG plus!!

Have fun!! :sunny:

I hope I got a good deal. It really could not get much cheaper for me living here, I think.
Total cost was $737 including all taxes and fees for four.
Before taxes and fees it was $84 each way.

Rockford is an simple two hour drive from the Quad Cities and the airport does not charge for parking.

Never flown from there though, so I hope it is all good.

Did you book through a 3rd party such as Expedia or did you go to Allegiant's website. I have never heard of them. I did check Rockford's schedule a couple of weeks ago and the cheapest flight I found was like $800 per person and it stopped in Denver on the way to MCO :confused3 . I guess I better recheck, but you got a non-stop right?

TIA

I booked directly through Allegiant.
Actually I was on the rockford airport website to see what airlines flew out of there and I clicked on the Allegiant Air link and was amazed that I could have a direct flight for $84 each way.
Also impressed by the free airport parking, we went for it!

Thanks, I'll try using the link through the Rockford airport. I went to the Alligient site and it didn't seem to be working properly.
