I took a deep breath, committed a ridiculous amount of money and booked the Vietnam, Cambodia And Laos trip for April 2014. We generally do our own hing when we travel, and have never taken a guided trip. the quality of the ABD ones looks amazing but the price put me off. My Husband wants a travel free year next year and as excused himself from our 2014 trip. I thought it was the prefect opportunity to do a guided trip as I was anxious about taking the three boys on my own ( perish the thought that there is no annual trip at all!)

I now have to buckle down and pay off the trip, as well as book the flights. Does anyone have experience itch air vietnam or air Malasia? I am leaning towards Singapore air....

Yaay! I think the ABD looks fantastic. DD travelled with Vietnam Air earlier this year but just the short term flights within the country-found them efficient and reliable & similar to others etc but no knowledge of what food etc is like on a longer flight. We have flown Malaysian airlines to London 2005. Found them then to be up there with Singapore-very good service, good food, comfortable, in-seat IVE etc-at the time it was some of the best flights I had experienced but I have read they have done some cost cutting since. DD loved her trip to Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam but her and a friend did it themselves. Have fun reading up on what you are going to see & enjoy the fantastic food.

We have also flown Malaysian previously and had no issues, efficient staff, reasonable food etc. if the cost was good I'd be more than happy to fly them again. Have also flown singapore a few times and they were good.

Haven't heard of ABD, time to go google:thumbsup2

No experience here but it all sounds very exciting!! I hope you come back and let us know how it is.

Can't wait to hear how your trip goes - sounds very exciting!

Congrats!

You probably couldn't go wrong with either SIA or MAS. I believe SIA might have a sale on today!

Thanks for all your input. There are a few good sales that go up to March 2014, so I am going to hold out a month in the hope that some April deals emerge.
