We weren't doing Disney this year. My husband just started his own business and we really felt like we needed to get through the winter and understand all of our expenses before planning another vacation. My SIL and her family have already said that they would like all of us to go next fall (2011). Let me just tell you, I have a really hard time on these boards when I don't have a trip booked! All I think about when I am reading is "I WANT TO GO".
Well amidst all the discussion about the ticket prices going up today, I got a call from my boss and found out I am getting a bonus. Dh asked what I want to do with it and I smiled. "Take the kids to Disney of course"! We decided we would wait until January and then I saw a free dining promo so I decided to check out the prices!
I found a 5 night 6 day trip for 5 in a moderate resort for just over $2000 for this November. I couldn't resist so we booked! This will be our first time using the dining plan. So - did I really get a good deal?
We have 3 kids - 11, 9, 6 when we go. We booked Port Orleans Riverside with free dining for 5 nights. The total was around $2200 before I upgraded to park hoppers. What do you think?
