I bit the bullet and booked my Thanksgiving Weekend airfare!

When I noticed that my flights were no longer listed I called Delta. I was connected with rebooking and chose my new flights. I hope you can get a non stop flight.

I just called Delta and my non-stop flight from MCO to Boston on the 26 of Nov. hasn't been cancelled (yet). It just isn't showing up to be booked.

I called too. I am also coming back on the 26th of Nov. I was also told it wasn’t canceled but full - which is strange because when I check the seat assignments it show the seat as being a little over half full.
I am going to watch this closely in case for some reason it does get canceled.

I talked on the phone concerning seat assignments last year; wasn't able to change seats online even though not all the seats were showing filled. She explained to me that a certain percentage of the seats they do not pre-assign so that families with small children, etc can be seated togeather as a late request. If you do not fit into a special circumstance, they will not preassign you seats, and you cannot do it online. If you call and speak to a reservation person they can over-ride that for special circumstances. Did that make any sense?? ;)

I just checked my flights this am and the flight MCO to BOS is showing up again but only showing first class availability and times are changed again by 5 min. I went to my itinerary and no changes had been made to that but when I checked to see how full the plane was the plane had been changed again and didn't list my seats. I called Delta and they still had me listed with the old seats and said all the changes hadn't shown up in the system yet. He said they automatically reassign the seats when they change the planes. I'll just have to keep chcecking often today. It's going to be a long 8 months.
