We had a potter marathon a couple of weeks ago on tv.
All the movies were shown on going......non stop..

It’s was for Harry Potter’s birthday. July 31. A movie weekend birthday celebration.

Not a HP fan here at all

I always catch them on TV, even though we own the first 4 on DVD. They were on a new network, not on Freeform any longer. My kids were the right age that we had to go to the midnight book releases. My DS could read an entire book in 24 hrs, so he usually got to have it first.

My youngest DD and I made a special trip in 2010 after Hogsmeade opened, and again to see Diagon Alley. My oldest will see them for the first time this Thanksgiving, she's looking forward to it!

HP is the one show that when they do the movie marathon everyone in our family stops and watches it . My youngest DD is more obsessed now then when we went in 2016. I am so excited for her to go back in Nov. I am going to "try" to re read the books before Nov

But have not read the books or movies

I don't think you need to read the books or see the movies to still enjoy the Universal HP offerings.

I also like the butterbeer and let's be honest, just the name would have gotten me to try it and I liked it. Has nothing to do with it being HP inspired.

Get the audiobooks or have your daughter read them out loud! Always makes it more fun.

We often have one of the audiobooks checked out from our library, and we rotate through. It’s great listening on the way to work

So my youngest is halfway through the movies and she said "if we ever go to universal i wouldn't want to go in the summer because I would be hot under my robe" hahahaha so my question is 1) do kids where robes there? 2) where to get a robe????

Yes, you see plenty of people wear them.....some don't seem to take them off.

The heat doesn't seem to affect them...….

And yes, you can buy them all over......you can`t miss them

Good idea! I've heard the Halloween costume kind that you can get before your trip are not as hot as the fancy ones sold at the parks.

Last time we were there we spent probably 3 or 4 hours in both sides of HP. US really did a wonderful job recreating the look and feel. We were already HP fans but visiting makes it even better. I hope Disney takes note and builds Galaxies Edge with the same quality and attention to detail.
