Hi all, here's the situation: I am planning to go to Disney in August, have a 1br at BCV Aug 27-31. Since my mom is coming up to meet us and others have said on here that I can't have her there without her being on the reservation, I thought maybe I could just book her a studio for 2 nights, it wouldn't be that many points. BUT I banked the rest of my 2010 points, and have my normal 160 pts for 2011. SO if I understand this correctly, I can't bring back my 2010 pts, but I can borrow my 2011 points right? I am 45 days out. I don't even know if theres availability yet, I just want to make sure its possible. TIA

I usually wait until the last day to bank my points. But this year I figured "why be silly" and went ahead and banked my leftover 2009 points before the banking deadline. Sure enough, the next week my brother called and said he actally could join us on an upcoming trip. So I ended up borrowing a bunch of 2010 points.

No problems.

Make sure that MS uses the correct points and double check their work.

We have had several problems where they used the wrong points and it's a pain to get it fixed later. Just last week they used regular points instead of banked points for a reservation even though I reminded them. I received a email today stating that they fixed the error. Tomorrow I will double check to see if it's really fixed.

I hope you realize that you can add her name to the reservation if you wanted her to stay on the pull out couch.

Was just going to post the same thing- as long as your are within the rules for number of people in the room - just add her name. The exception is if you are doing the DDP. Then she has to be added to that for the whole reservation as well even if she won't be there all those days.
