and it was good!!! Hazelnut cream inside, yummy!! The outside chocolate was a bit too rich for me, but over all very good and not a bad price for the size either. Many CM's didn't know where to find it but finally stumbled on to it at Plaza Inn. Worth the calorie splurge completely :rotfl:

Good to hear! There were many treats on the Food TV special that I had never seen before. Tell me, was it part of a buffet or can you buy just a slice?

I was at DL this past week and had the Yule Log. It was YUMMY!!!! My husband and my 2 kids all ate it !! What a treat!

You can buy it by the slice, I think it was $5.99 a slice. It was not the exact one made on the Guy Fieri show, I guess that section was actually filmed in 2008, that was vanilla with an icing coating, this years is hazelnut with a chocolate and whipped cream coating. But again, I wasn't sad it was good!!!!

Now to decide more yule cake or tres leche next trip :)

Where are the pictures?? Aw, man, I've got to get cable so I can see these tv shows.

I wish I'd known you could just buy it by the slice! We even mentioned the cake when we were there over the weekend, but shrugged off trying it b/c we figured that we'd have to do the whole meal thing at the Plaza....oh well....just something else to add to our list to look for next Christmastime.
