paper products /non food items usually will buy whats on sale - but we are pretty particular with food items

ALWAYS A NAME BRAND with healthcare products like soap shampoo conditioner toothpaste - but over the counter meds like Tylenol etc - store brand is fine

My son is doing a science project and is going to graph store brands vs. names brands vs. the part of the country the item is being bought in. He wants to see if people in the East shop the same as those in the West when it comes to Store brands vs. Name Brands.

Oh what fun! Don't know if you have anyone from Virginia yet but here is my 2 cents! Oh and we are a young couple both under 35 without children.
I buy both store and name brand items.
Yes, it does matter how I am going use them. Food items I will only by name brand, paper products I will buy almost anything.
Both my husband and I have very sensitive skin so we only buy brand items when it comes to personal products.
