I meant to post this the other day. I am so happy with this child. He did what was right. This happened about a block from my work.

He is a very smart young man. It is sad that he has to be exposed to this poor parenting. to him.

What a very smart and strong kid. I hope he is able to pull himself out of whatever issues he is living with now. I mean, not follow along in his mothers footsteps, yk? It can be very hard not to.

i would guess that it isn't the first time he has had to make a similar decision. my guess is that he has been living with his mother's alcoholism for a long time and has had to learn to cope. that is sad.
