I am sure this has been asked before but can you ship a package to your room before you arrive?

Our 3 month old needs to have a certain formula and we was going to ship a case to BCV but we are unsure if you can do so.

We are planning to use WEGOSHOP but I am scared they will be unable to find this formula (Soymilk).

ANy advice?

Thanks all

Yes you can ship it to yourself. Just make sure the person whose name is on the reservation is the one you address it to.

Is there a special way I need to list the package i.e., Joe Blow, Arriving week of XX-XX-2006?

Thanks

I mailed a package earlier this month. I called to check on the format for the label and was asked to do the following:
My name
C/O BoardWalk Villas
BWV Address

Hold for check-in on mm/dd/yy
Ressie # 1234567

Upon check in, I asked about the package, and a few minutes later, it was delivered to my room. (My room was ready when I checked in.)

We had some bottled water/snacks shipped to our resort just a couple of months ago and it arrived without any problems.

we shipped a package (big box of food & towels) to Pop Century in November. No problem at all; it was there when we arrived at the front desk. Make sure you have the actual physical address of the hotel and thats its shipped to your attention. I know my wife called the hotel prior to doing this to make sure it was addressed correctly.

You might want to ship it in a "flat rate box" that the post office has. The shipping price is only $7.70 no matter how heavy the box is and formula can be very, very heavy.

And, you might not. To quote from a piece of email just received back from the USPS, "While the delivery service standard for Priority Mail is 1 - 2 postal business days, this is not a guaranteed time, and may be subject to delays. The only service that is guaranteed to be delivered in a specific amount of time is Express Mail."

This was in response to 3 pieces that were shipped out and not delivered for 8 business days. I find it interesting that you pay no matter what. If they deliver in the "2-3 days" that is advertised or if they deliver in 8-10 days -- same price! Luckily, this happened to us on the way home from a vacation trip, and not on the way out! I will be using a different service (UPS or FedEx or DHL) for my next shipment for vacation.
