I just got off the phone with Disney Dining and the cm was so rude to me! I had to change some of my adrs and make new ones. She kept breathing hard like I was making her job so difficult. I thought about just hanging up but I was afraid she would delete all of my adrs. I was also told that my LeCellier adr was for 2 tables and is supposed to be for one for a party of 5. Sorry about my fit, but I am so upset. I cried when I got off the phone. You know it is not everyday that you spend 3500.00 on a vacation to be treated like this! I think I am going to cancel LeCellier now. Has this every happened to you guys? I have gotten some really good cms the last 2 times I have called that were really helpful. Maybe they think I have called too many times.

Take a deep breath . . . and call back in the morning - if the same CM answers - hang up quickly! Hopefully you'll get someone wonderful who will be happy to double check and confirm your ADR info for you. In my experience the rude CMs are few and far between - but when you get one they can really throw you for a loop, can't they?! :crazy2:

I'm sorry that happened to you.

I just called last night & made ADRs for 7 dinners ( and canceled 5 previous ones I'd made) & had an extremely helpful CM who even thanked me when I told her how helpful she'd been.

I would call back tomorrow to confirm your reservation #s.

Please dont be upset. I called Dining the other night about this time and I got this CM that was breathing hard too, and she said she had a respiratory problem. So maybe you got the same one.

We must all remember that sometimes they just have a bad day too, its a stressful job and late at night they are tired.

I know they don't need to be rude but just maybe we all sometimes expect a little too much pixie dust from all of them.

Just enjoy your trip and move on, you will feel better for it. :thumbsup2

I've canceled and rebooked so many ADRs by now that I'm getting afraid to call. I think that the CM will just look at her computer and roll her eyes when she sees my history of canceling and booking. But for all my calls, the CMs have been extremely helpful and nice. One even said "wow, you've really been working on this, huh?" OMG!

Just call again tomorrow and you'll get someone better I'm sure.

First of all "there is no crying in Disney"...(just had to say that)...sorry, anyway, do not cry, do as the other POSTERS said...you call right back and this time you get the CM's name before you ask anything else. Keep a note of it (who he or she is)!! Then I would go over your entire ADR's with the CM and make sure they are AS YOU REQUESTED!!! PERIOD!!! Yes, you have spent a ton of $$$ and you should be treated with respect. I went in Jan and prior to that trip I called N U M E R O U S times changing this and that etc etc and on and on and not one CM gave me anything but respect even chatting about some new events and happenings since my last trip there etc etc. I then typed up my entire list of ADR's on which day they were etc and printed them off and kept them with all my other Disney notes for the trip.

p.s. You can CALL as many times as you like. We even were changing our ADR at the Park the actual DAY of one of the ressies....DH & I kept those dining CM's quite busy.

NO W O R R I E S!!!!! pixiedust:

P.S. re: Le Cellier: Dh & I just ate there in early FEB and all the tables APPEAR to be for FOUR, hence if you have a party of FIVE or more, it appeared to me that they would put TWO tables together to accommodate a party of FIVE....

Do you think that is what your CM meant when discussing your ADR @ Le Cellier? That they needed to give you a ressie with TWO tables? Check that out tomorrow when you call.

BUT by all means EAT @ Le Cellier, wow, it was F A B U L O U S!!!!! :Pinkbounc

That is what they get paid to do. If one is rude, chalk it up to a bad day and call back later. I have talked to 2 wonderful CM's and I always remember their names because they are Rainbow and Atlanta. They are always so great and helpful! Don't cancel any AR's just because a dining CM was rude. Most of them have never even been to the restaurants at Disney, which I think is strange. I would definately have to do some "on-the-job research" at least!

I will admit to hanging up if I didn't like the sound of a CM. Just chalk it up and think YOUR GOING TO DISNEY!

Thanks guys! I am starting to feel a little better. I just feel so overwhelmed as it is. I have not been to Disney since I was 15 and now I am 27. I didn't have to plan it then, my parents did. Now, I am the parent trying to make everything perfect. I am going to call back tomorrow and go over everything and hopefully get a better cm. If I don't though I might just hang up this time.

Give up on making it perfect. Aim for 85% good! There will always be some minor disappointments or irritations.
LeCellier was delicious BUT it took a long time 1hr 45 minutes for lunch. Hot dog was overcooked and even a new hotdog was too tough for DD. DD steak next time was charcoal. Consider your children's ages if they can take a long meal like this or if it will be too much boring time for them.
We spent most of lunch tag teaming with someone outside with DD.

Most aren't in Orlando at all so it makes it difficult for them to enjoy WDW =)

OP, chalk it up to a CM having a bad night and call back tomorrow. Don't cancel your ADR, I'm sure it's just because they have to push tables together. You'll be fine ;)

This is what I would do.

Hang up anyway, preferably while you are talking.

Wait at least 45 minutes and call back.

If you get the same person (probably won't) hang up again.

If you get a different person, continue where you left off.

If you are told your reservations were cancelled, say with a puzzled voice, "I didn't cancel them" and most likely the new person you are talking to will just re-make the reservations for you. Ask for a supervisor if it appears the first person you are talking to does not seem to understand you.

That was my same thought! I have made so many changes! I'm sure classic novels haven't be revised as many times as my May trip!!! :lmao:

I would call back again and talk to someone else. Dont cancel Le Cellier, it's way too good!!!!!

yummy!

I was going to say the same thing. I noticed a lot of 4 tops when I was there so they would have to push two together for a party of 5.

Yes they do. They're linked to your phone number and/or name. When I called to make sure they had canceled all the ones that were supposed to be (I had to give credit card info on a couple to guarantee them, CG and Fantasmic dinner pkg), the CM read ALL of my cancellations to me and the date of cancellation. :bitelip:

I haven't run into that kind of problem. I have called a couple of times and changed some stuff and never had that problem. I think you should change you reservation for LeCellier just because of the CM. I would just call back and check with someone different. :scratchin
