I'm sick of the way my boss answers small-talk questions. Examples:

Me: How are you doing today, Moe?
Moe: Oh I can't complain. Especially not to you. You are my inspiration.

Me: How's your foot doing? (he was in a cast following Achillies heel surgery)
Moe: Oh I can't complain. Especially talking to you. You are my inspiration.

Me: How was your weekend, Moe?
Moe: Oh I can't complain. I'm so blessed. You are my inspiration.

See a pattern here? I mean come on!! Whatever happened to my weekend was great, I'm feeling good, my foot hurts like a sonofa.... You get the idea?? I'm not one of these people that's going to respond to someone in pain with, "Just be glad you can walk on your own 2 feet."

I feel I am hardly anyone's inspiration. I go to work there, do my job, and usually work out before I leave. I just do the best I can and don't feel like I'm anything to admire. If he wants to "fawn" over me I wish he'd keep it to himself.

I know, something weird to complain about. Oh well.

ETA: I have heard Achilles heel surgery is EXTREMELY painful to recover from. I would expect someone to be in pain with it. I have never and probably will never experiece pain like that. So please, complain to me about it. I'm not going to try to demean you!!!

These tow vermin need to go. Their 15 minutes is now in double overtime and someone needs to put us out of ouur misery. Are they trying to prove to the world that just because you are born into wealth and privilege doesn't mean you can't be a total blithering idiot?


I also hate people who drive like they are the only ones on the road and that the rules of driving apply to everyone but them. Since RI and MA were just voted the worst drivers in the country and I live in RI and work in MA can you imagine how much I hate my commute?

I am so sick of drivers who speed up and get right on my bumper when I'm in the far RIGHT HAND LANE. They act extremely impatient because I'm doing the POSTED SPEED LIMIT. Excuse me, hello, there are two other lanes on the highway. Take one and GO PAST ME you jerk!

I am so sick of people who decide to hold social hour in the middle of the aisle in a store. They stand around talking, oblivious to where they've left their carts, and oblivious to the fact that there are other people trying to get down the aisle they are holding their reunion in. Take it OUTSIDE people!

I am so sick of being in a store, restaurant, etc., and having to stand and wait while the employees finish chatting with each other. It makes me MAD to have to stand there and wait for them to DO THEIR JOB! And it makes me DOUBLE MAD when one of them has the nerve to glance at me, knowing I'm standing right there waiting, then look away and CONTINUE talking to their co-workers about the party they were at last night, or the fight they had with their boy/girlfriend, or how they wish they were somewhere other than at work.

I'm sick of my mother's friend calling me for legal advice. She did it all through her divorce and now that she's divorced, her ex-DH won't leave her alone and she's calling me again. She has a lawyer she's paying, but yet, she calls me - AT HOME - and expects me to answer these questions for free. How many times can I say, "I'd love to help you, but I don't do family law."? You wouldn't call a dermatologist for a heart problem, would you? I know very, very little about family law....especially as it pertains to REALLY complicated, nasty divorces. I keep telling her, "Look....I'm a litigator. I represent pharmaceutical companies. I don't do anything family law related." My entire firm which has thousands of lawyers world-wide doesn't do family law in ANY way. But, there she is calling me about how her ex-DH brought her back into court for something and, can he do that?, and, can I get him to pay my legal fees? I DON'T KNOW. ASK THE LAWYER YOU ARE PAYING WHO DOES THIS CRAP FOR A LIVING.

I am soooo sick of my West Civ. professor and his final term paper. Why assign an outrageously long paper I know he will have some TA read. It has no real content to it, it's just time consuming. I hate writing papers like this. I would rather write a paper that is somewhat interesting rather than just a minimum of 10 pages double spaced! I hate when I hate a course I paid good money for!!!!!
