I am SOOO ready for this school year to be over!

...and I'm not a teacher or a parent of school-age children! I work in a HS - making photocopies for the teachers. We all get on campus this AM to find that most of the door locks have been tooth-picked and glued. The only way they could get me into my room was to break the little window in the door. Now I'm a prisoner in my room, because I can't leave with finals in here and the - oh yeah! - BROKEN copier! I've called Xerox for service & the technician will be here this afternoon! The snots who screwed up the locks also poured motor oil all over the campus - on lockers - everywhere! uhmmm...I get off work at 11:10 am - but I can't leave the room unsecured. Can you tell I'm ticked off?!

LOL.... move to Georgia, school has been out for two weeks here!

I think Senior pranks are getting worse all the time.

DS-2001-The kids parked in the teachers parking lot and went to a early breakfast. The teachers parking lot wasn't designated as such, but now it is.

DD-2002 Someone brought live chickens.

2003-Don't know, didn't hear anything.

2004-A couple of kids rode their tractor's and riding lawn mowers to school and parked in the teacher's parking lot. They got a hold of the new principals car and put a for sale sign on for $5.00. His wife was in on it. But (talk about a farming community), some kid brought in 3 steer heads and put them in the bathrooms. His dad owns a butcher shop. (That is gross).

We are getting a new principal next year, this principal got the administrative job. He told everyone about the incidents at graduation ceremony and made jokes of everything. But I think he only raised the bar for what could happen next year. He said their would be no fines or suspensions. (Ya, let the new principal handle the pranks next year.)

Sounds like a long day.
The seniors at the school my mom teaches at once got the band up on the roof to play for the students as they were getting off the busses in the morning.
This year they "decorated" the school-streamers, glitters, toilet paper, etc. They also stuck a porta pottie in the principal's parking spot.
I think last year they greased a bunch of pigs and set them loose in the school.

At my school we had a couple chickens run through a couple years ago-nothing major. For some crazy reason senior pranks aren't big there.

Crazy seniors at one high school here in Chattanooga, poured concrete, paint and bleach all over the track/football field/bleachers, then painted graffiti all over the announcer's skybox. THey also littered with the empty concrete bags, cans, etc.

Destruction and vadalism are not the way to celebrate graduation, as you will find yourself under arrest and not marching with your class, as these six students did.
