I am SO upset

Hi all,
after i had made up my mind about the DLP shares, this morning i went to my bank to ask them to buy at least 5 for me.
Let alone no one seemed to know about Euro Disney shares and shareholder club, It took 1 hour and a half and hundreds of papers signed to get a special account for buying and selling shares and after everything had been done pretty smoothly we went to another office to buy the shares.
And at this point the surprise arrived: it is not possible from a bank in Italy to buy french shares for less tha 1,000 euros
Now, my partner had called Natwest and they told him it is possible to buy shares in the UK from Italy but you need to fill a form first so probably we will do this but it will took longer anyway and i want to book for our Halloween trip buuuuuhhhhhhhh buuuuuuhhhhhhhhh
Sorry for moaning but i am so much upset.

That's very, ver, very strange !!!! Are you sure the bank got it right ? When I bought mine in Nov/Dec.2006 , I paid I think no more than €170 ( including the charges). I think they were under the name Euro Disney or Eurodisney , written all together...I don't remember.
If you want I can try and see if I find the paper the bank sent me after I bought them and see if there is any information you can use !

the lady at the bank looked as much suprised as me (she had told me just last wednesday i could had got as many as i wanted non limit); i told her i knew people that owned less than 1,000 euros of Euro Disney SCA shares but she said *i am sorry i cant help you, when i try to buy just 5 shares the system replies *transition impossible*.
We will try the other way now, i mean Brian phoned Natwest on tuesday and they said it is ok to buy there as long as he sends back a form as he is now a British living abroad.
Not the ideal solution but the only one i think
