I am so thankful!

Good morning all! I had wrote this on another board this morning. This is just a portion. But I wanted to put this part on this board.

This Board has become very special, since being "banned" from the now non-existant board. The friendship have become something very special to me. And as I posted on the other board and wrote the following, I felt anew the friendship and blessings so many have blessed me with. I just wanted to share with you the thoughts and feelings I had this morning.

Many, many thanks for all the prayers, support and laughter with smiles, I have enjoyed and been given. Most especially over the last few months. It truely has meant so much more than you will ever know.

Now for excerpt from my other post:

...."But as I said in the beginning, I mainly go to pin meets to see my friends. We went to the contemporary last friday. I sat there and visited with friends for the longest time before I opened my pin bags. And that was because someone approached our table and asked if we had pins to trade. I kinda giggled and said "Sure!, I guess I should get them out for you!" I made a trade and gave someone a smile as well. These are friends that I laugh and yes, have even cried with and prayed for when they were going through a rough spot. It's become friendships that I cherish. And they are people that I know care about me, and share my happiness and as well my hardships. I've had a tough summer. Since April, I've been on an emotional roller coaster with my dad's health. He is now dying of Liver desease and conjestive heart failure. My close pin friends know and always show their support and love. I know that they sincerely care for me and my family. It doesn't get any better than that.

So even when I can't find that elusive Pooh pin, I know I can find a friend. It's just a trade away!! What a blessings!!"

Nicely said Winnie...how many times have we been at the Cont. or other meets, and been so busy catching up w/ our friends that we don't even trade a pin, or we just give a pin to a new trader... Our life has changed so much since we started pin trading, and we have made such wonderful new friends, who support you through the bad times and the good...and we support them...

I'm sorry to hear your Dad isn't going to improve, and you know our prayers are w/ your family..

Not long until the cruise, and another chance to be w/ all our friends..and bring along Carl..

I'm so very sorry about your dad's health getting worse. You and Fred are two folks I'm always so delighted to see at the Contemp when I'm in town. I do wish you both the best...and hope your dad remains comfortable. You're doing a super good and caring therapy for him.

You know I rarely post but this one was a must. You are so
right about the friendship. That is what it is all about. Bob

Well,how about that, I got June to come out of hiding!! Hi June!! You are so sweet. I just love you and Bob to death. I am so glad you two will be on the cruise.

Many thanks to everyone who has posted there love and prayers, and {{{hugs}}}}. You are what makes this so very, very special.

Dad had a good day today. I told our pastor tonight, I have a peace about daddy leaving us, and that is good, BUT, I also have faith that if God wants to, He can make daddy whole. Either way, I'm just trusting Him. He knows what's best, and He makes NO mistakes.
