I want to thank everyone here for all your support these past few months and for welcoming me back with such open and loving arms. You help me through the dark days and help me celebrate the shining ones!

Getting me motivated to scrap again is such a blessing to me, to help me relive our happy moments with Jim is a gift and you helped give me that gift.

Thank you for letting me rant when I need and give me lots of hugs in turn, you are all so special to me, you are my Dis Sissy's and forever part of my life!

Blessings to you all and your families, hope Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday for you all.

Dear Lisa - it has been wonderful to meet you for this first time over the past few months. Your situation so closely mirrors mine as it was a grp of special ladies from this board who helped me through the dark days after my DH passed, They were/are encouraging, understanding, non-judgmental and truly there when you need shoulders to lean on.
I truly understand what you must be experiencing - I often think you are an amazing lady for your positive outlook in the face of adversity. Your daughter must admire you so!

It's amazing how wonderful the friendships we build here; most of the time having never meet one another in person... I'm glad we are able to be here for you and pull you through when things get tough... It's a great place we have built here and it keeps getting better... Sometimes it's just great to talk to people who aren't with us all the time....but understand in one way or another what we are going through or have the willingness to help us get through it if they don't know or understand what we are going through.. friendly advice/suggestions or just that shoulder to lean on means so much....

Hope you have a wonderful thanksgiving...and smile as that is what Jim would want from both of you!!! He is always with you!!! Sometimes you don't realize the signs...but they are there... a song on the radio, the phone ringing once and thats it, a feather on the ground you didn't notice a few minutes before....
