I had booked a trip to Disney for September 4-10 with the free dining plan and I just had to cancel it because I could not get the week off at work. I have not been to WDW since 2003 and I am having withdrawls. But on the bright side we are going next Christmas 06, and I am thinking about a 10 vaction. ::MickeyMo

I'll be sad for you too. 2006 can seem like a really long time to wait (see ticker) so I know it won't be easy. Blowing some healing pixiedust your way and some more to blow over your boss who needs a good strong dose :Pinkbounc . So sorry, but hopefully, with the extra planning time for your next trip it will be even better than you hoped.

Much love and pixiedust,
Claire

I've had to cancel several trips since 2001 so I know how you feel.. Right now there's a tenative trip planned for late Nov/early Dec., but it all hinges on my house being sold by then..

2006 isn't really all that far away though so just immerse yourself in planning and hopefully the time will zip right by! :flower:

Thanks for the dust, I'm sure everything will be great, we are thinking about going for 10 nights next December, how great would that be.

Maybe if you sprinkle your boss w/ some pixie dust they'll change their mind!!! Good luck! Oh maybe if you bring in sweets w/ Disney themes on them they'll get the idea!

What kind of place do you work for where they deny you time off when requested in advance???

My DH and i just had our 3rd trip in 2yrs and agreed next year will be a Cape Cod trip and then maybe in 2007-or later we will return. I love the planning and getting excited, but felt like a break would make the magic that much more special with more time between our trips.- Everyone has their own internal clock of Disney visits required. We felt like we filled our quota, so now we will enjoy something else.

We dont have kids yet, but I think after experiencing it as an adult, it will be fun to take our little one- I think a 2-3 year old could enjoy Disney, or maybe we will leave baby with gram and gramp and go on our own!
