We just lost our nine year old dog Champ to lymphoma. There isn't a dry eye in our house.
It is amazing how much you come to love your pets. This is coming from someone who absolutely DID NOT want a puppy brought into the house nine years ago. My husband brought him home from the pound (a 100% pure breed mutt) and I was absolutely furious at him!!
In nine years this dog became a really good friend to all of us and became especially attached to me (the only one who did not want him at first) and I to him. The only thing that is helping us through this is that he in not suffering anymore.
I have never asked before but I think I could really use a {{HUG}} today.
