I am so sad now regarding the suicide death of a former boss..

Just read it on-line...he was 73 and battling lung cancer and other problems. Took his life with a shot-gun blast to the head.

This was the man who started the company where dh & I met. The man who started a business that employed a lot of local people. I was there for almost 10 years and left when I had our son...dh is still there after 20 years.

I just feel very sad and sick inside...

RIP Dick....

Suicide is probably the hardest of all things to accept. But the pain and confusion do ease.

I think I might probably have an easier time accepting the suicide of someone I loved if I knew they had cancer or some other terminal illness, because I would think "They had a good reason". I would have a harder time if they had no temrinal illness, becaise I would always be thinking that maybe I missed something.

after seeing my DFIL die from lung cancer last year, its not an easy death. I would just pray that he and his family found peace.
