I am so mad! Re: Atkins at Subway

After reading all day about how wonderful the Atkins subs are at Subway, I was all set to have one for supper tonight...I go over to Subway this evening and ask if they have the new Atkins subs and she says, "Oh they don't start until tomorrow"...I am like, "Oh really, I have talked to friends who said they started yesterday"...She says, "Well <i>HERE</i> they start tomorrow!"...

Um, okay, get a grip, I only asked...sheesh You can tell I live in the backwoods...we are probably the only ones who are not making them yet!

Well anyway, I know what I am having for lunch tomorrow now! LOL

What a let-down!! Oh my, I hope you have a plan B for dinner! They'd BETTER have those wraps tomorrow!!

Me TOO! We called yesterday before lunch and were told that their shipment had not arrived and that they would have them today. So I hauled my "cookies" all the way over there at lunch today only to be told that
a) they do not have the products in
and
b) even if they did have them, they are not in their system so they couldn't sell them anyway.

So, I had to go to the grocery store to buy stuff for a salad for lunch - and inhale it in the little time I had left.

Between that and finding out a friend was moving out of state and hormonal mood swings (fertility meds) I was pretty much a psycho b**** the rest of the afternoon.

Oh that is such a bummer. I hate when I have my mind set on something. I can't believe that they couldn't sell them even if they have them. Geez, they are franchises and you think the people would want to just sell a sandwich rather than have someone leave empty handed.

It must be regional, all of the subways around here had them on the first day!
