I am so frustrated!! UPDATED 14/03

I had an appointment last week to see a hypnotherapist, she cancelled 30 mins before, it was scheduled again for Saturday but she cancelled again 30 mins before. It was then scheduled for Sunday and she didn't turn up! When I spoke to her Monday she convinced me to book another one and promised that she would stick to it so I made one for this afternoon and guess what...

she just cancelled AGAIN!!

I am so annoyed, I have built myself up each time for the appoinment just to be let down, plus I have paid her a deposit!

It was her sister who cancelled her appointment (Im sure it was really her though) and she said she would ask her to send my deposit back to me.

Definitely ask for your deposit back that's outrageous behaviour, if you had cancelled with that little notice I bet she'd have still charged you for the appointment so why should you have to put up with it from her

Seriously she seems very unprofessional, I would get my money back & find someone else. Is she accredited by anyone? It maybe worthwhile contacting them to see if they have had similar complaints.

I tried to contact the woman today to chase up my deposit and her office number is now a dead number. I rang around and managed to get hold of her mobile, I finally spoke to her and she said that she will send me my deposit back. I am not hopeful though as when I rang the company she rents her office from to get a number they told me that they have not seen her for several weeks and that she is behind on her rent and council tax. She clearly took my appointment and money with no intention of keeping to it. I have reported her to trading standards.

I am sorry she has messed you around. Perhaps ask the GP to refer you to someone trustworthy.
