I am so excited.......

I have been trying on these size 10 & 8 Petite Lands End Jeans since the end of July.

When I first started, I could get the 10's on but couldn't zip them. The 8's wouldn't quite go up over my thighs yet.

Then the 10's fit, barely zipped them and were really tight and I could put the 8's on and not zip them.

2 weeks ago, the 10's fit comfortably, and the 8's were still not zippable.

Today..........I only took in an 8 and they fit. I even tried on the black ones, light ones and dark ones just to make sure it wasn't one color or just one that was sewn big. They all fit. I am so excited.

I bought two pairs........I still have to decide tonight if the length is ok, or if I need to order them direct from Lands End to get a shorter size.

I also bought two long sleeve tee's in a petite small. The petite medium was floating on me, and I could get the petite x-small on but it was a little tight in the chest. If I wasn't so chesty, I would have bought the x-small.

I also tried on a few other things. They have these really cool corderoy type pants and I tried a small on and they were too big. I will actually need to find a x-small.

What a big confidence builder, and even if I dont' loose anything tonight at WI.........I will know I lost inches.

Ok, let me see if I can get some pictures taken. I have a digital camera, but I am can't find the recharger for the battery. I have been looking for a good before picture. I tend not to take a lot of pictures, and I have always hid behind clothes or other people.


I have also decided that I am going to order the jeans directly from Lands End. The shortest length in the pants you can get in Sears is 28 inch inseam. I measured them against my jeans in larger sizes and they are 27 inches. That one inch makes a big difference in how long they are. My DH say's the ones I have look fine, but It hits the floor without shoes. I can get the size I want if I order them.

My next dilema is, do I order a 6? If I loose another 25 pounds.....I might be swimming in the 8's. Realistically, I could loose that 25 pounds within the next 6 months or less. Then again, it might be nice to have some baggier jeans to lounge around in.

Oh the things we torture ourselves with while we are loosing.

Isn't it funny how our size really doesn't jive with our weight?? I weigh 135 at the moment and am wearing 12s! I'm hoping to get into 10s soon but am not there yet. Maybe I should be trying on Lands End clothes!!
