I am so disappointed ..

I know it’s trivial in the whole scheme of things, but I just spent a month setting up a department golf outing (best ball scramble). I love these events, and we only do one each year….. I spent a lot of time putting together teams that were even, and worked well. I worked super hard to accommodate requests, personalities, etc. It was supposed to be this coming Tuesday – I was so excited.

My boss just cancelled it. Apparently there is a project deadline that’s looming……

I know work is work, and business is more important. I would rather we didn’t lose a customer or something….. I’m just so sad. I was looking forward to it and I worked really hard on it.

I'm so sorry. I know how disappoiting it is when something you put a lot of effort into gets the rug pulledout from under it.

Anytime a golf outing is cancelled it is a sad, sad day! Can you reschedule? You have all the leg work done, just need to find another date.
