I am posting this here for YOUR inspiration.

I was looking at a "Woman's World" that my wife had in our home. The date of the magazine is 3/7/2006.

So, I'm looking at the cover and something looks "wierd" to me. The story is about a woman who has lost 185 pounds. Turns out, after reading the story, that I actually went on 2 or 3 dates with her. We worked at the same place for 5 years.

At some point in her life --- and I did not know her then --- she weighed 345 pounds. I dated her when she was about 225 pounds. She looks SO DIFFERENT now that she weighs 155 pounds. I really did not even recognize her. But I knew it was her when she was named in the story.

What an AMAZING feat by her!

And now, I can tell my kids and grand kids that I once dated a "cover girl"!

Side note- My DH lost a bunch of weight close to 60 lbs. for our first child and he's glad he did 'cause now he can chase them when they run toward the street or after that illegally taken cookie.
