I am OVER the Lovebugs!!!!

UGH, this season has been HORRIBLE! They are swarming pretty bad right now...the roads are COVERED in them, my front door is covered in dead bodys and they are inside all buildings...'

We were at WDW and there were tons there too...UGH...ENOUGH already...

No not lady bugs....they are called lovebugs...they are 2 flying bugs that are "mating" in the air...hence lovebugs. They dont bite, but land on EVERYTHING...they are pretty slow moving too..Just highly annoying.

I can sympatize with you. I hate lovebug season, too. They are so annoying and you can't take the car out without having to wash it down when you get home.

Is it just me, or is this season A LOT worse than the spring swarm? Spring did not seem too bad, but they are horrible right now!! I am hoping all the rain we are supposed to get will help out.

That last few years they weren't bad at all and I was hoping they were going to be gone for good. No so. They should be done for the season soon, though.

I hope they are gone before next Thursday when we go to Disney. I HATE lovebugs (see last tag).

It's strange- we don't see them much in South Florida.

It's not you. It's definitely worse than May. It's coming down in buckets here right now so I'm hoping that kills a bunch of them.

No you are right it is AWFUL this season. The amount of love bugs I pick up everyday on my vehicle is ridiculous. I come home and have to wash the car only to do again it the next day! My sisters door is also covered in dead love bug bodies. My fiances house right down the street has somehow escaped the huge mounds, but he still has plenty flying around. I feel like I should go outside in a bubble so I don't have to feel the bugs! My dad came over to my fiances house the other day to get a TV and when he turned around I discovered he had dead love bug parts all over the back of his shirt. I'm sure that he just squished some when he sat down...they land everywhere lol.
