I always wanted to name a female Lilac Point Sheba.

After we got Pippin (male Lynx point), I don't know if I ever want a female cat again. He's so much more loveable and cuddly than the females we've ever had/ have.
Check
www.petfinder.com. Although you may not find your baby right here and now, you may find a rescue organization that you can work with. I am a strong supporter of rescuing as opposed to purchasing. There are so many animals that need a good, loving home like yours. You will likely find a cat rescue agency or a Siamese rescue league. Let them know what you're looking for and call them regularly to see if they've found a baby that matches your description.
Holiday season is coming up, and I am sure breeders will have them ready to go for the holidays, which is the other route you can choose to go. Brye had no troubles finding Pippin, who was a Christmas gift, three years ago. He
did go through a breeder. If you're in the North-Central Pennsylvania area, or are willing to drive, he went through
Katsebel cattery . Ginnie was a doll to Brye and Pippin is everything and more than we could have asked for.
So that I don't get flamed: Pippin was purchased by Brye as a gift. I had no input and didn't even know I was getting him, although a Siamese kitten was the only thing on my gift list that year. I was still living with my family and didn't think they'd take too kindly to another animal

Brye had never owned an animal in his life (not even a fish) and wasn't familair with going through rescue agencies, shelters, etc. Our other part-Siamese, Tinkerbell, came to us through Animal Control. She, too, is quite a cat. At this point,
we would not lkely go any other way than adoption. But, that is a personal decision and no one can make it for you. The important thing is that you get the baby that is going to best suit your home and lifestyle.
