I am leaving in 24 hours

The Golter clan (Me 33, DW 35, DD14, DD7, DS6) from Pasadena (TX) will be leaving houston at 4:00 PM tomorrow and driving straight through to The Blue Tree Resort in Lake Buena Vista. It will take us about 15 hours with a stop for dinner in Beaumont. It appears to be much warmer than this same week last year when we went. I dont think it will be the same Christmas feeling that we had in 2003.

We will be going to WDW for 4 days and 2 days at US/IOA. I cant wait, I need a break from reality. We are meeting our friends(mom,dad and 4 kids) from Dallas again this year, but we also have my parents going. They help with the kids a bunch, but I sometimes feel like I have 2 more people to be responsible for.

I'll give a detailed trip report upon our return.

Have a Wonderful time.We leave Saturday evening and driving through the night and will be at AS sports at 6:00am. Then we will be at SSR for the next 4 nights.

We were just there Tuesday and the crowds were so light. We were literally walking onto Stitch, Buzz and Space Mountain. Even the line for Indy (race cars) was only about 10 minutes and everyone knows thats one of the worst lines. Have a great time.

DisneyWisher - We were there Tuesday also and I totally agree about the low crowds. But we returned Wednesday from 9:00 to 2:00 and it was much more crowded, but still reasonable waits.

I wondered if Tuesday was low because they had a Christmas Party that night, and the folks doing the Christmas party were at another park or maybe spending a non-park day.

Anyway - we sure enjoyed walking straight into Space Mountain!

We will be there next week too but have not packed one item AND am not sure what to pack because the weather is warmer than I expected!! No complaints though!!
