Since we got this upgrade, I'm thinking of cancelling a few things we had planned and taking advantage of the resort a little. One of the things I am thinking about is cancelling Whispering Canyon and eating at Turf Club Bar & Grill...is it worth it, should I do it? OR should I cancel one of our late night in the parks and come back earlier than planned and order pizza in the room and go to the pool?? What should we do, help please!!!

I am doing the happy dance with you I too got the pin this morning. We upgraded from ASM to a 1 bedroom villa at SSR. We also get free dining. I am BEYOND happy today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was from Disney Destinations and I almost deleted it without opening it b/c they just sent me something yesterday w/really nothing much in it...but what caught my eye and made me open it was in the subject line it said something like enjoy a disney resort upgrade on us...and when I opened it, I couldn't believe it!!!!!!!!!!!

WooHoo for us!!! We also get free dining too!!! I kept asking the CM on the phone if I accepted this upgrade, would I loose my free dining and he kept saying no...poor guy, I must have asked him that same question about 5 times!!! LOL I am beyond happy today too, I've been telling everyone that calls about my great deal!!! I'm happy dancing with you and for you!!! Have a great trip!!!!!!!!!!

We are renting points from a DVC member but we're also staying 1 night @ ASM the day before & @ Pop 2 days after our 10 day stay @ THV. I wonder if we might get one for our little short stays @ the value resorts! That would be super fun! Is it only for a particular stay? I don't think I've ever seen a pin code before although I do get emails sometimes from Disney Destinations regarding my AP. Do they just have a button to click on that links you somewhere or is it actually a code to enter when you are in a reservation?

I got one too this morning. It's an email that gives you a code and tells you to call disney then gives you the number. When you call, you give then your reservation number then they ask you for your code.

I got a pin code this morning for a free upgrade from Disney's Pop Century to either Saratoga Springs or Old Key West. I didn't believe it, but I called anyway and they upgraded us to a 1 bed room villa at Saratoga Springs!!!!!!!!!!!!! This never happens to us, I still can't believe it!!!

THANK YOU for answering my question! I went back and searched my email (thank god for gmail's search feature LOL) and found out I WAS sent a PIN but just ignored it as spam! It's for Free Dining which we already have but now I put a filter on and any incoming emails from Disney Destinations will be at the top of the inbox!!!!!

We've stayed at SSR twice this year. I dont' think the food choices there are much to talk about really, so I'd keep the plans you have. The one thing I would do is maybe plan another daytime pool visit.
