We have been eating and cooking with butter forever. Now, I have switched to those low fat "spreads" to cut down on cholesterol and fat. I am using Land O' Lakes' Light Butter With Canola Oil and it is just not 'doing it' for me! I can't taste it on the food so I want to put more on...which I know I shouldn't. I find myself wanting to give up on a spread altogether and just put more salt on the food....which isn't going to work! Kinda' defeats the purpose! **sigh** Getting older isn't as much fun as I hoped it would be!
