if not already, coming very soon ... RPR Club will only be on the 7th floor. They have eliminated 6th floor with Club Access!!!

What a happy, happy day for me!

(I just called to make sure that my Sept. 3rd ressies had on it noted that I only wanted to be on the 7th floor, and they said there was no worries because it's back to one floor -- wish I could remember if they said it was as of the end of last month or the end of this month... Makes no nevermind to me .... 6th Floor with Club Access was AWFUL!! So, for all of you, like me, who provided feedback, thanks! They listened! )

Did you notice that the club room was more crowded with 6th floor having access too? That is one thing I like about RPR - the club room is big, and even at its busiest it is never as crowded as HRH's club.

The club lounge was never too busy when we went in the mornings, because we were never there till 10 am, but Shannan (club mgr) had mentioned that it was very packed between 8-9ish. She said who needed Bally's gym when she worked morning service?! She considered it her morning workout.

We didn't run into too many crowds during evening service either, but then again we were there early May, and not in the middle of summer season. What we really hated was the incovenience of being on the 6th floor with club access. That meant carrying 2 separate key cards, and taking a detour if you wanted to use the lounge. We were in the lounge one night with another couple who were assigned to the 6th floor, and they hated it too. I am guessing either the lounge was over-extended or many of us complained, or both. I just remember being assigned to the 6th floor, and a family of 4 was in the lounge with us when they were notified their room was ready. The mom got up to check out the room and came right back. She said to her family, "Do you want to go see our pretty room?" Her husband said he would take the kids, what was the room number?

She said, "3726."

My heart sank... that is an awesome room with a GREAT location and a GREAT view. Meanwhile, we were stuck with a view of I4 and the 6th floor. Sure put a small damper on things! Back now to happy days and happy stays!

We were there June 30 - July 2, on the 6th floor, room 3604. The lounge was very crowded that weekend. At least we had a pool view and were only a couple of rooms down from the stairwell to climb up to floor 7! I can see where being on the 7th floor would be more convenient.
