I am giving NOTICE, I'm excited! Need Support.

After 6 months of job searching and not being real happy, I am finally giving notice!!!! I am so excited and so happy.

I have been in the same industry for 4 years and I never really liked my job but the money has motivated me to stay. I am taking a huge pay cut so I am a little nervous but yet I am sooooooo happy to be leaving.

Has anyone else ever been in a similar situation? Leaving a good paying job that you despised to a bad paying job that would make you happy? I would love to hear about other experiences and what the outcome was like.

I was willing to take a paycut to get out of my old job. I stayed at my job for 3 years because it paid well, but it was killing me, I applied for a full time management position at my part time job, willing to be paid less to be happy. I got it and I ended up with better pay!!

I started my new position on Tuesday, I worked harder in 2 hours than I would have the whole day at the last place, but I was happy with what I was doing and who I was working with.

Your mental health is very important, good luck with your new endeavor.

I left a job I despised with no job lined up (that's how much I despised my job! LOL!) I got another job right away, but I wan't willing to wait to have one lined up before leaving. And my next boss was soooooo much nicer (actually, it wouldn't have taken much!)
