I Am Getting Annoyed with Myself

I don't even have to make ADRs for more then a month, but I keep on reguessing myself. I am pretty good once I make them about not changing anything, but I just can't decide on anything! You'd think being there for twelve nights on the deluxe dining plan I'd have no problems including everything I want, but I still seem to run short on nights.

If more of the resort TS restaurants served lunch and dinner, instead of just dinner, I wouldn't be having this problem, but since so many of the restaurants I want to eat at are just dinner, I'm running out of nights.

This is what I have right now;

For dinners, (I'm planning one for each night since I like having a sit-down dinner each night,) I'm definatly eating at; Boma, CA Grill, Narcoossee's, Citricos, Artist Point, Yachtsman Steakhouse, and Flying Fish. I am also probably going to definatly have dinner at both Kona Cafe and Jiko. The only reason I would not book a dinner ADR at Kona, would be if I booked a lunch ADR instead, but I love the dinner menu, (and the bread which is only at dinner,) while I'm not too into the lunch menu. Jiko I've eaten at twice, but I've never been impressed, despite that I want to eat there again, since then I can eat at every signature restaurant in one trip, and I have read repeatedly good reviews about it recently.

Including Kona and Jiko that makes nine of the twelve dinners I have planned decided. The other three that I have on my list right now are Hollywood and Vine, Boatwrights, and Olivia's Cafe, all three of which I have never eaten at before. I had decided to skip dinner at Ohana this trip, since it's the same menu, and even though I love it there, I really like to try new things, but then they changed the menu, and not only did they change it, they only changed the things I didn't really care for, the sausage and the chips, so now I want to eat there again.

Lunches are another story. I keep on second guessing myself on those too though. Like I have Raglan Road planned for lunch one day, and Boatwrights for dinner, but I keep on thinking I should make a dinner ADR at Raglan Road instead, (I've never been to Raglan Road btw,) and make a lunch ADR at Wolfgang Puck Cafe, (which I like a lot, but is not currently on my plan for September,) and skip Boatwrights altogether.

Then there's the whole "where should I eat in Epcot" debate I keep on having with myself. I am planning three lunches at Epcot, I know Le Cellier is going to be one of them, but I keep on switching around the other two. At first I was thinking of going to Chefs de France and Coral Reef, but then I kept on switching those around with some combination of Teppan Edo or Tokyo Dining, San Angel Inn, and Tutto Italia.

Other restaurants I'm currently planning for lunch are Liberty Tree Tavern, Brown Derby, Yak and Yeti, GF Cafe, the Wave, and Beaches and Cream.

My breakfasts are the only meals that I am pretty certain about. I know I'm going to book CRT, Akershus, and Crystal Palace, and I'm also going to try Tusker House and Ohana. I also may be adding Cape May Cafe to my breakfast plans.

WOW......this is alot of food.......I dont see a luncheon at Crystal Palace or dinner there......those are both pretty good for choices .......
What would be the problem of going to the same restuarant for more then one dinner or luncheon.....maybe you could try a different meal that you havent tried yet.......like I always get the prime rib at Le Cellier...but this time I was thinking of getting the shrimp and scallop linguini.....OR the salmon.....I havent decided yet.........
Hope you have a great time wherever you decide to eat.....and remember to take notes or photos if you have the chance

You don't mention if you are going alone, with a friend or spouse. No mention of children and if there are how old, along with anyone else who might be joining you. All that can make a big difference in your choice of eateries.popcorn:: :tinker: :tink: :smickey:

That is a lot of dining but it sounds wonderful. I would add dinner at 'Ohana. I love it there too and see that as one of our have-to's!

I'm going solo, so everything is up to me. :goodvibes

Thank you for the replies. I think I am going to not book an ADR at Hollywood and Vine, and instead of doing the Fantasmic package, book a late ADR at Yatchsman Steakhouse or Flying Fish so I can see the show before dinner. What I'm hoping is that Fantasmic is at 7:00, (I won't know the park hours until March 1st,) and then I could make a 9:00 dinner ADR, which would give me about an hour and a half after the show to make it to dinner.

How on God's green earth are you going to eat all that food???

Seriously, we just got back. We had one TS a day, shared some lunches, ate breakfast in our villa and I was completely stuuuuufffffffed until the day we got home.

Good Luck. Bring the Pepto.

Don't skip Boatwright's. It is one of my favorite restaurants. They have a great pork dish for dinner or they did, not sure if the menu has changed since I have been there last (2 1/2 years ago).

Have fun.

Seriously! Not to mention a pair of jeans one sizer bigger than what I packed.

On my last Disney trip I lost weight, so hopefully I will at least not gain any weight. Besides on most days I'm planning on two, not three meals a day.

We did two meals a day and it worked out very well for us. We only planned on an early breakfast and a 5:30 dinner (DD4's tummy is on a stopwatch). It was just fine for us with a couple of snacks in the middle.

Wow, I agree that's a lot of food! You have some great choices. I really want to eat at CA Grill and Yachtsman's but we are sort of doing things based on our children's ages. 2 TS would probably be too much for me, but I guess it depends on how many courses you'll be having and if you plan to snack in between
