We aren't planning on going until Sept. 3rd- Sept. 11th of next year, so i know I shouldn't be so overwhelmed already. I just need some tips on a couple of things. First off we are a group of 10 going. We are looking to book 3 separate rooms at a value. Preferably POP. Me (24), DBF (25), and DSis (23) in one room. My parents, DBro (13) and Dsis (7) in another room. And Dsis (21), her boyfriend (20) and their son (1) in the third room. Everyone but my boyfriend and I are Florida residents. My boyfriend and I would be, but we moved to Cali about 5 months ago for work. My boyfriend and I are paying for the vacation for my parents and two youngest siblings.

So my question is, do we book the whole reservations in my parents name so that they can get the Florida resident rate, if there is is one?

Also, if Free Dining is offered at this time do Florida resident rates even matter? I hate to stress myself out over nothing.

If we book a vacation package under my parents names, would they give us all the Florida resident rates on tickets? I don't want to cheat the system I just want to make sure I do everything right for this trip.

I was just going to book the room and tickets separately, but I noticed to do the Free dining you must book rooms and park tickets. I am thoroughly stressed out. Anyone have any tips for this sort of thing?? I know my DIS friends would have some advice!!:worship: Thanks so much!!

I think you could book all rooms in your parents names, or you could configure it so each parent is in a room then Dsis (FL resident) is in hers. Then it doesn't matter where you sleep. I don't know about park tickets.

If Free Dining is offered then the Florida resident room discount won't matter. You could book that package with a 1 day ticket for each person and upgrade that to a Florida Resident pass (there are many options) and just upgrade yours to the number of days you need.

HTH! :wizard:

Thanks so much for your reply!! It was actually the exact answer I was looking for!!:thumbsup2 I think we have it all figured out!! So excited!!
