I can't seem to keep quiet about everything I read and how much I'm saving us and how many times I've called to get our reservation booked at the best price etc etc. We are going in October and he is already glazing over the minute I mention anything about Disneyland Luckily for him I spend most of my time reading the forums or I think he'd run from me!

I've been forbidden from discussing anything related to DL until we are back from our vacation next week. Then I can talk about our DL trip in December

We have three trips planned before our trip to Disneyland... One to Vegas..One to New York..and One to San Francisco...yet alllllllllll I can talk about is the trip to Disneyland.

We will be eatting dinner and I will tell My husband... I can't wait for our trip..and He will say Yes what do You want to do first when we get there and I say... I want to go on the Peter Pan ride... He shakes His head and says NoooooooooooooooOOooooooo I meant the trip to Vegas or New York Or San Fran.



Poor hubby..it's many months til Nov.

Our Disney Hubbies should start a support group.

LOL!!! We 3 sound like we have the same condition! We're leaving tomorrow for a week-long trip to a beach house in Hermosa. Sure, I'm looking forward to it, but I have this absolute obsession with Disneyland and that's all I talk about.

Ye Olde Husband has finally learned.

Started with wedding planning, which was especially difficult b/c I just wanted to go to Vegas (talking Bellagio type, not drive-thru, but that's still easier b/c they do it all for you) and HE wanted the big poofy wedding. So HE had the wedding dreams but other than "big wedding with family friends etc" he had NO ideas, and I had to come up with ideas. So that was hard and he didn't want to hear about everything, totally missing the point that I was trying to get his input 'cuz I had nothin'!

Then it was the honeymoon, which he paid for (had to, as I had quit my job and was a SAHFiancee, LOL) but I planned, and I talked about it incessantly (yay for cruise critic forums).

Then we had a honeymoon baby so I was all over the mothering dot com forums. By then he'd had a successful and basically well-planned wedding, and a nice honeymoon so he started to understand that planning stuff can work!

And then the Disneyland stuff started when DS was 1.5, and even though he was a little bit weird with my planning, once we had a great one-day trip, he finally, totally, got it.

And on our last trip in May, HE finally became almost as big a "fan" as I am, so now it's not just getting it intellectually, but in his heart.

And now I have to continue making lists for our 2 day camping trip starting tomorrow. Luckily he just goes along with that now, b/c he's seen how well it all works.

Dh loves that I'm a planner and a researcher...he's just tired of hearing about all the minutia lol. I am, however, waiting for the day when he blocks this site on my computer!

My fiancee has NO problem with it. Although I've noticed that he kind of turns a deaf ear and doesn't really pay attention. My mother on the other hand can't take it anymore. The more I talk about it, the more she doesn't want to go with us on our big trip. So I try as hard as I can to keep my mouth shut around her haha.
