I am at my Mom's right now. She had surgery last week and I am SO busy helping! She is a neat freak so at one point this morning I was actually on the floor scrubbing it ! She was pointing out "spots" to me ! They have a HUGE house so this could take a while. I already changed her sheets. I just wish the evil "sister"(not a step) was here to pitch in ! Must go fetch her lunch...
Thank goodness I will have to get the kids in a bit and GO home for the day !

I had to go 6 months w/o cleaning (no bending, twisting, lifting, etc.) My good friend came in every week to clean, and I tried so hard not to boss her, but it's hard. When your body doesn't work, your mind works over time and can find many things wrong.

I hope your mom recovers quickly and your hands survive the scrubbing !

I am just getting home to get kids. This is the 4th day of my waiting on her and cleaning up for her. She DID find spots I missed. UGH ! She wanted little bits of food every hour and fresh water constantly. I never knew how much work this would be! My own house looks like a pigstye ! I want to cry.

It wears you down physically AND mentally, doesn't it. I hope you can find some time to do something good for your soul.

Can you listen to music while you clean? Can you listen to It's a Small World Over and Over Again, and maybe you'll be dismissed early??????

Good idea fm ! My sister used to drive us batty that way!
I just got back from the grocery for US(did hers this morning). I do plan some R&R with DH later! Must tend to kids first. I shall survive...hands are getting chapped though!!
