Everything started as normal got up got dressed got the kids ready to go to my parents for the day. While we were on the highway 2 exits away from where we were to get off a lid to an old steel fishing cooler flys out of the back of the boat infront of us. It smashes right into the grill of our Uplander. DH immediatley pulls over to check the van out. The other car was still going do DH chases her down and we get her attention to pull over. There wasn't much traffic and she was going much slower so we caught up to her in no time. So we call and have the cops come to do a report and she has no info on her car just her boat. I was alittle freaked out.
So we arrive at my parents and have a great cookout. Everything was great!
Now on the way home again 2 exits away from where we get off we notice a car going from lane to lane off road and on. SO DH say call 800 Grab DUI. My cell had no reception. As I look up the car drives over and knocks down a light poll. Go ups into the tree line, back down running over 2 signs. They cross the 2 lanes heading for the oncoming traffic. Hits another sign spins around and stops in a turnaround. DH jumps out of the van to check on the driver. I then realize Duh we have Onstar. I call for help. It turns out the driver was diabetic and had a sugar level of 33. SHe walked away just fine once paramedics had her sugar undercontrol. She came over and gave DH a hug. SHE remembered his striped shirt. The officer was great.
I am hoping know since I typed this out I will be able to go to sleep. I am just not calm enough yet.
