I was just glancing over the resale market and saw that TTS has an OKW contract for sale that is 1000 points and they are asking $80/point.

I wonder how long that one will sit on the market. It seems the bigger the contract the longer it takes to sell.

OKW at $80 per point?!?!? WOW - I thought only BCV was going for that price.

Doesn't everyone have a spare $80K sitting in the bank?

Holy Cow!

First, I'd smack my guide if (s)he didn't advise me to buy 4 250pt or 5 200pt contracts.

Second, I'd rent out the available points, then in June strip it and rent the rest for early fall trips so that the closing can be held this year.

Third, I'd drop the price well below the ROFR threshold and HOPE someone puts an offer on it so Disney will buy it back before '06 MF's are due.

Notice, I didn't say find a "buyer", b/c then they would be in the same fix if they decided to sell.
