I AM ABOUT TO BURST!!!!!!
Kinda need your help too!
As promised I have to keep the biggest, most exciting secret of my life for the next 2 months from both my parents who I currently live with. My mum is turning 50 years old in mid June, and we want do something special for her, but don’t have a clue what. Me, my mum, my dad, and my moms best friend all booked a trip to Disneyland at the end of May/early June just for pleasure (Not for her birthday). Yah we could do something for her birthday there, but she wanted something exciting and different, but with only her closest family members and friends, and not everyone could make it to Cali so that idea is kind of out.
WELL UNTIL NOW!!!
My brother (only sibling) and his fiance just left my house where I hit the roof. They came over to tell me they are coming to California too and to not tell mum or dad. They had me help them book a trip and to stay in the same hotel which is now confirmed WOOOOOO!!!! We are going for 10 days, and they are going for a week. They are showing up at 11:08am 2 days after my party arrives in California which is perfect.
What a surprise for my mum for her 50th. We havent had a family vacation together in years. This would be the last thing mum would expect. Especially since my brother and my future SIL are scrounging to put money away for the wedding.
Now we are trying to come up with places to "Bump into each other" in the park that day. I suggested Coke Corner at 2:30 cause every day they have characters playing musical chairs and we can sit and have a drink, and be entertained. If the characters arnt there well we can still have a reunion there. My brother suggested that he showed up with a birthday gift bag filled with a tiara for her to wear, a birthday button, and a 50th birthday sash. I suggested maybe give her a shirt that says "A princess who moved up to being a queen". We can have a mini party at Coke Corner with some drinks, hot dogs and Mickey pretzels, before she starts on her birthday adventure with her family. We are going to Medieval times dinner and tournament later that night, so she can continue to wear her tiara and feel like a princess.
So I need suggestions on the following
A) Is Coke Corner for the reunion a good location? What other place could you suggest?
B) Saying for a T-shirt
C) If you have any other ideas that might be kind of fun to add to this situation please feel free to throw those at me.
