Sooooo, we're going to IOA when we go to Florida.
And there's that Jurassic Park ride.
And I was watching a video of it on youtube.com last night.
And I was scared silly.

Now let's just get a couple things straight;
Yes, I am 17 years old.
Yes, I know REAL dinosaurs are extinct and have been for millions of years.

But I have this fear to top all fears of dinosaurs.
(Animatronic dinosaurs included--because they are the only type around. :smooth: )

From what it looks like on the video I saw, the big scary dinos get VERRRY close to your little weensy boat. Is this true? Or was the video maybe zoomed in?

Either way, I don't know if I'm going to be able to work up the guts to get on this ride (I have to ride DInosaur @ AK with my eyes closed and my ears plugged)

So what do you guys think? SHould I go for it? Will I pee my pants? Or am I psyching myself out for nothing....? :goodvibes

don't know but just glad i'm not the only person who has a fear of dinosaurs... still haven't rid on dinosaur and looking at the picture of the last dinosaur gives me the creeps

back to the topic i think if you don't like the idea of the ride just don't ride it because nobody is forcing you to go on

is that the one at Universal?
cos that's... umm.. a 84 foot drop. 32 more feet than Splash Mountain & 22 more feet than Atlantis.

I went on the JP ride at US in California and in that one this HUGE T-Rex popped out over top of you geting like 6ft. away from your face. So maybe if this is a pathological fear you have then maybe you should skip that one. :)

The ride was fun in my opinion... even though I was scared out of my wits when the last dinosaur burst out at the end.

I am so glad that some people won't go on that ride! I can't even wait in the gift shop it scares me so much..

how sad... :'-(

ooooh im SO glad i'm not the only person who is afraid to ride it!!

i'll let you guys know when i get back if i work up the courage to go on it or not.

i'm all for the 84 foot drop!!!
it's just the dinos that scare me---even the "nice" ones! lol
